TECHY WITH A TWIST…

I graduated from Goldsmiths University with a BSc in Creative Computing. Since then, I've had many placements and collaborations. I've worked in North Virginia's Serious Games Institute as a Research Associate consulting on an Augmented Reality (AR) learning solution for medic training in '18. Additionally, I was a Co-Instructor at George Mason University for their Mixed Reality Module.

I contracted for USTechSolutions as a Research Assistant at Facebook for just under 2 years and published a paper at IEEE VR 2020 about our work.

I was a Publicity Co-Chair for the ACM Interactive Media Experiences Virtual '21 Conference and currently act as a Diversity and Inclusion Chair for '22. I'm now working as a Lecturer in Computing at Goldsmiths University as well as a member of the SeeVR lab. Furthermore, I hope to champion more people of colour into PhD programs and the XR industry. I have worked with Coursera, contributing to the VR Specialisation, which has over 100,000 registered learners internationally. I also currently act as the Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair for the ACM Interactive Media Experiences '22 Conference.

When my head isn't in a headset, I like to embrace my other creative outlets. I enjoy traveling, finding new recipes to try, event planning, dancing, and fashion modeling.
